PITTSVILLE – Pittsville used a pair of five-run innings to push past Spencer 13-9 in a nonconference baseball game Tuesday.
The Rockets fell behind 13-5 before a pair of two-run innings late brought them closer, but Pittsville (3-0) was able to finish off the victory.
Madden Prybylski and Reed Knecht each had two hits and two RBI for Spencer, which falls to 2-2.
Spencer (2-2) opens its Cloverbelt Conference East Division schedule at Owen-Withee on Friday.
