MEDFORD – Stratford won seven titles, including two from Jett Schoenherr, as both the boys and girls teams finished third at the Medford Track & Field Invitational on Tuesday at Medford High School.
Medford won the boys team title with 111 points, with Marathon second with 94 and Stratford third with 88.5.
Stanley-Boyd was the girls team champion with 120 points, just ahead of Marathon with 118.5. Stratford was third with 107.
Schoenherr won both the boys 100 meters (11.17 seconds) and the 200 (22.79) for the Tigers.
The Stratford boys also had wins from Conner Weigel in the triple jump (40 feet, 11¾ inches), Koehler Kilty in the shot put (42-9), and the 3,200 relay team of Garrett Zuelke, Lance Krieg, Ethan Heeg and Cree DeFoe (8:57.93).
The Stratford girls won a pair of relays. The 3,200 team of Kayla Casperson, Kaylie McHugh, Breleigh Skaya and Ella Heidmann won in 10:50.32, and the 400 team of Sadie Weigel, Dawnyel Martin, Hayden Fecker and Kassedey Downey was victorious in 54.81 seconds.
Casperson also grabbed a runner-up finish in the 800 (2:42.76) for the Tigers.
Stratford will compete at the Auburndale Invitational on Friday.
