STRATFORD – Tria Tubbs tossed a three-hit shutout to lead the Stratford softball team to an 8-0 nonconference win over Northland Pines on Friday at Hilgemann Field.
Tubbs struck out eight and walked four while giving up just singles for the Tigers (9-4).
Tubbs also had a triple and an RBI, Emma Roeper had three hits and an RBI, and Tessa Berg and Sonia Peterson each drove in a pair of runs for Stratford.
Stratford plays a Marawood Conference South Division game at Wausau Newman Catholic on Monday.
