SPENCER – Audrey Waldhauser won three events, and Cal Birkhauser and Isaac Scheer were each double-winners for the Marshfield Columbus Catholic track & field team at the Brian Pickett Invitational on Tuesday at Spencer High School.
Waldhauser won the pole vault (7 feet, 6 inches), the high jump (4-8) and triple jump (31-0) for the Columbus Catholic girls, which finished fourth in the team standings with 59 points.
Abbotsford won the girls title with 166.5 points. Spencer was fifth with 54.
Neillsville took first in the boys team standings with 192.5 points, with Abbotsford second with 132, Columbus Catholic third with 91 and Spencer fourth with 63.5 at the seven-team meet.
Birkhauser won the 400 meters in 54.70 seconds and the 800 in 2:15.35, while Scheer took first in the 1,600 (4:46.48) and 3,200 (10:12.71) for the Dons boys.
Breckin Miller won the boys pole vault (12-6) and Johnathon Jonas was first in the 200 meters (23.92) for the Spencer boys. The Rockets also won the 400 relay in 45.07.
Both Spencer and Marshfield Columbus Catholic will compete at the Marshfield Invitational at Heiting Community Stadium on Friday before the Cloverbelt Conference Meet next Tuesday, May 16, at Gilman.
