AUBURNDALE – Caden Weinfurter tossed a complete game and four players had two hits for the Auburndale baseball team in a 7-3 nonconference win over Athens on Friday at Auburndale High School.

Weinfurter struck out five and walked two, allowing just four hits to earn the win for the Eagles (9-6).

Alex Willfahrt, Blake Raab, Aden Cherney and Tim Schmitt all had two hits for Auburndale, which had 12 in all. Raab also had two RBI.

Auburndale plays at Stanley-Boyd on Monday and hosts Tigerton in nonconference action Tuesday.
