AUBURNDALE – Mya Krings smacked a three-run home run to help lead the Auburndale softball team to a 9-1 win over Athens in a nonconference matchup Friday at Auburndale High School.
Krings and Ashlyn Grimm each had three hits, Hope Schulte added two hits, including a double, and Regynn Lau drove in a pair of runs for the Eagles (12-3).
Samantha Stanton and Grimm combined on a four-hitter for Auburndale, which has now won four games in a row.
Auburndale will finish its regular-season schedule Tuesday at home against Tigerton.
