ANTIGO – Fond du Lac scored 10 times in the opening inning and cruised to a 14-4 victory over Marshfield on Saturday at the Antigo Junior Legion Baseball Tournament.
Marshfield (6-10) scored three times in the top of the first on two wild pitches and a sacrifice fly by Bryce Schade.
Fond du Lac responded with the big 10-run frame and were able to end the game due to the 10-run rule with two runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
Easton Ledden had two of Marshfield’s four hits in the loss.
Marshfield’s games against Middleton and Antigo on Sunday were rained out.
