Marshfield’s Valin Ramberg, Zoren Ramberg compete at North American Indigenous Games

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, Canada – Marshfield High School student-athletes Valin Ramberg and Zoren Ramberg competed at the North American Indigenous Games last week in Canada.

The NAIG featured 5,000 athletes from 756 Indigenous nations competing in 16 sports while also sharing and celebrating their cultures. The Games were held July 16-23.

Zoren Ramberg, who will be a senior at Marshfield High School this fall, competed on the Wisconsin 19U women’s softball team.

Valin Ramberg, a sophomore-to-be at Marshfield, was a member of the gold medal winning 16U Wisconsin men’s basketball team.

Both represented the Ho Chunk Nation at the Games.
