MARSHFIELD – Brooke Begotka and Ireland Moran each won two individual events, and were part of two relay victories, as Marshfield won its home Chase the Tiger Girls Swimming Invitational on Tuesday at Marshfield High School.
Marshfield finished with 231 points in the four-team meet, six better than second-place Medford.
Begotka won the 50-yard butterfly in 27.57 seconds and the 50 breaststroke in 33.90, while Moran was first in the 50 freestyle in 26.96 and 50 backstroke in 29.09 for the Tigers.
Begotka teamed with Terra Risa, Ella Allar and Moran to win the 200 medley relay in 2:01.21, and was part of the 100 medley relay team, that included Risa, Allar and Shiloh Smith, that won in 1:00.89.
Marshfield is off until Aug. 31 when it hosts Wisconsin Rapids in its Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet opener.
