SUN PRAIRIE – The Marshfield volleyball team won all five of its matches in pool play at the Sun Prairie East Cardinal Kickoff Tournament on Friday.
The Tigers defeated Sun Prairie West 21-25, 25-13, 15-6; Watertown 25-15, 25-19; Beaver Dam 25-17, 25-17; Madison West 25-7, 23-25, 15-7; and Horicon 25-12, 25-17.
Abby Ongna had 45 kills, 23 digs and nine service aces, Lauren Homolka added 28 kills and seven blocks, and setter Kailyn Kurth had 90 assists to lead the way for Marshfield.
Ashlyn Barwick had a team-high 52 digs, Grace Taylor had 14 kills and 19 digs, and Casey Dasler also had nine aces for the Tigers.
Marshfield moves into bracket play on Saturday.
