WESTON – The Marshfield volleyball team is the last remaining undefeated team in the Wisconsin Valley Conference after a 3-0 sweep of D.C. Everest on Thursday night at Greenheck Fieldhouse at D.C. Everest High School.
The Tigers won 25-20, 25-20, 25-19, to improve to 3-0 in the WVC. D.C. Everest drops to 2-1 in conference play.
Abby Ongna had 15 kills, Kailyn Kurth had 28 assists and Ashlyn Barwick had 14 digs to lead the way for Marshfield.
Lauren Homolka added nine kills and three service aces, and Grace Taylor had seven digs for Marshfield, which is now 19-1 overall this season.
Marshfield will host the first Wisconsin Valley Conference meet of the season Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
