NEW RICHMOND – The Marshfield girls tennis team finished 1-2 at the New Richmond Quadrangular on Saturday with all three matches coming down to the end.
Marshfield lost to Eau Claire North and New Richmond, and defeated Superior, with all three matches ending in a 4-3 score.
Ashley Grancorvitz went undefeated at No. 4 singles, Payton Koran was 2-1 at No. 3 singles, and all three of Marshfield’s doubles team finished 1-2.
Marshfield will finish a match with Chippewa Falls on Monday at 4 p.m. after the original match held on Sept. 11 was postponed by rain midway through. The Tigers return to Wisconsin Valley Conference play at home against Wausau West on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Boson Tennis Complex.
