STRATFORD – The Stratford volleyball team survived a back-and-forth match with Marathon and pulled out a 3-2 victory in a Marawood Conference South Division match Tuesday night at Stratford High School.
The Tigers won 25-16, 19-25, 25-23, 20-25, 15-12, to improve to 4-0 in the Marawood South. Marathon falls to 1-3.
Kalyn Schueller had 20 kills and 13 digs, Emerson Roy had 28 assists and 13 digs, and McKenzie Novotny added nine kills and 10 digs for Stratford.
Stratford’s next match is next Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.
