WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Stratford volleyball team clinched the outright Marawood Conference South Division championship with a 3-1 win over Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Tuesday night at Assumption High School.
The Tigers finish the Marawood South season with a perfect 5-0 record and capture their fifth conference title in the past seven seasons.
Kalyn Schueller had 23 kills and 13 digs, McKenzie Novotny had a team-best 19 digs and 10 kills, and setters Emerson Roy and Laney Pankratz had 31 and 15 assists, respectively.
Stratford will be back in action at the Marawood Conference Crossover Challenge on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Marathon High School.
