STRATFORD – Stratford, the No. 1 seed in its bracket, had little trouble with No. 16 Necedah, rolling to a 3-0 victory in a WIAA Division 3 girls volleyball regional quarterfinal on Tuesday night at Stratford High School.
The Tigers won 25-17, 25-14, 25-12, to advance to a regional semifinal at home Thursday against No. 8 seed Nekoosa.
Kalyn Schueller had 14 kills and 12 digs, McKenzie Novotny added 11 digs, Emerson Roy had 10 assists and Laney Pankratz had eight assists for Stratford.
Thursday’s match against Nekoosa begins at 7 p.m. at Stratford High School.
