MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield girls basketball team outscored Baraboo by double digits in each half and cruised to a 61-32 nonconference win on Tuesday night at Marshfield High School.
Marshfield only shot 38 percent from the field (25-for-65) and made just one of 18 3-point attempts, but were able to handle the Thunderbirds with ease, outscoring Baraboo by 16 points in the first half and 13 in the second.
Ashley Grancorvitz had 11 points, Emma Ridgway added nine points and five rebounds, and McKenzie Holm and Raella Schueller each chipped in seven points for the Tigers, who are now 2-1 this season.
Marshfield plays a nonconference game at La Crosse Central on Friday at 7:15 p.m.
