ANTIGO – Joey Cashmer scored twice in the third period to lift the Marshfield boys hockey team to a come-from-behind 5-4 nonconference win over Antigo at the Langlade County Multi-Purpose Building on Friday night.
Tyler Reissmann had a goal in the first period, and Blake Meissner and Tanner Shortt added goals in the first half of the second period to give the Tigers a 3-1 lead.
Antigo (1-5) rallied with three goals in the final nine minutes of the second period to pull ahead, before Cashmer tied it with 9:28 to go and put in what proved to be the game-winner with just 2:54 remaining.
Reed Gieseking had 17 saves in goal for the Tigers, who improve to 4-6.
Marshfield returns to Wisconsin Valley Conference action Tuesday with a game at Wisconsin Rapids.
