PARK FALLS – Four Spencer girls scored in double figures in a balanced attack as the Rockets crushed Chequamegon 50-18 in a nonconference basketball game Tuesday night at Chequamegon High School.
Aubrie Bissonette and Kyleigh Hebert each scored 12 points, and Krystal Weier and Tara Matter each had 10 for the Rockets, who won for the fourth straight time to improve to 5-1.
Spencer led 17-7 after one quarter and 32-10 at halftime as it controlled the game throughout.
The Rockets’ defense was equally impressive as Chequamegon shot just 5 of 35 from the field.
Spencer returns to Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Thursday at Owen-Withee.
