STEVENS POINT – Stevens Point won nine of the 11 events and defeated Marshfield 102-68 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys swimming dual Thursday at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
Marshfield’s Henry Hilbelink won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.49 seconds, and helped the 200 freestyle team to a victory in 1:36.15. Simon Dagit, Carson Klumb and Kevin Buth also were on the winning relay team for the Tigers.
Stevens Point is now 5-0 in WVC duals, while Marshfield falls to 2-3.
Marshfield hosts Wisconsin Rapids for another WVC dual on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
