STRATFORD – The Stratford boys basketball dominated the first half, rolling out to a 24-point lead, and cruised to a 73-35 win over Abbotsford in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Stratford High School.
The Tigers pulled out to a 37-13 lead by halftime and were able to finish off the home win, improving to 8-3 overall and 5-2 in the Marawood Conference South Division.
Brady Schmidt connected on five of Stratford’s 11 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 15 points. Reid Miller, Henry Zaleski and Kaden Foster each chipped in 11 points in the victory.
Stratford is back in action Tuesday with a Marawood South game at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.
