STRATFORD – Abbotsford jumped out to a nine-point halftime lead and held off a late rally to defeat Stratford 45-41 in a Marawood Conference girls basketball crossover game Friday night at Stratford High School.
The Falcons (7-5, 4-3 Marawood North) led 25-16 at halftime before Stratford tried to comeback but fell four points short as it went just 7-for-18 at the free throw line.

Sydney Falteisek topped Abbotsford with 16 points.
