MARSHFIELD – Marshfield swept all 11 events and defeated Wisconsin Rapids 125.5-42.5 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys swimming dual meet Thursday at Marshfield High School.
Simon Dagit won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.31 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 58.44 seconds, and was part of two winning relay teams for the Tigers, who are now 3-3 in WVC duals this season.
Kevin Buth won the 200 individual medley in 2:19.75, Henry Hilbelink was first in the 100 freestyle in 53.36 seconds, Carlos Koehn won the 500 freestyle in 5:44.71, Zach Kayhart was victorious in the 100 backstroke in 1:04.57, and Joshua Peters won the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.39 for Marshfield.
Marshfield also won all three relays and Shaun Hunter took first in the diving competition with a score of 218.10 for the Tigers.
Marshfield will compete at the Sheboygan South Invitational on Saturday.
