MARSHFIELD – Kaydence McGregor had a hat trick to lead the Wisconsin Valley Union girls hockey team to a 5-2 nonconference win over Northland Pines on Saturday at the Marshfield Area Ice Arena.
Cecelia Reissmann scored in the first period, and McGregor added two goals in the second period and another 1:22 into the third, to help the Union build a 4-0 lead.
After a pair of goals by Northland Pines, Lily Cichy capped the scoring for Wisconsin Valley.
Madeline Conner had 14 saves in goal for the Union (6-9).
Wisconsin Valley is back in action Tuesday at Stoughton against the Badger Icebergs.
