MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield girls basketball team could not get its offense going and dropped a 50-30 decision to Eau Claire Memorial in a nonconference matchup Monday at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers shot just 24 percent from the field (12-for-50) and 3-for-22 from 3-point range in the loss, falling to 10-6 this season.

Eau Claire Memorial (14-1) has now won 11-straight games, nine by double digits.

Zaida Kolbeck and Hailey Klumb each scored eight points for Marshfield.

Marshfield will be back in action Tuesday with a Wisconsin Valley Conference game at Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
