EDGAR – The Stratford girls basketball team climbed back over the .500 mark with a resounding 53-33 win over Edgar in Marawood Conference South Division action Thursday at Edgar High School.
Carly Pankratz had 15 points and Tria Tubbs added 12 for the Tigers.
Stratford is now 10-9 overall and 7-5 in the Marawood South, while Edgar drops to 8-9 and 6-6 in conference play.
Stratford scored 33 points in the first half to take a 15-point lead and cruised to the win, limiting the Wildcats to just 11 made field goals in the contest.
Taylor Lemmer led Edgar with 14 points.
Stratford hosts Bonduel for a nonconference game Tuesday.
